Chunky Monkey Smoothie (Post-Workout)
Rich and golden in form — this liquid gold is pure after a hard workout
Smoothies are becoming my favourite post-workout essential.
As a former oat eating obsessive individual, I have found that transitioning to smoothies give me a whole lot of extra antioxidants and provides me with feelings of fullness and energy.
But I will transition to eating oats for breakfast when the colder temperatures begin to hit again.
In light of my smoothie challenge, I’d like to let you know that I will be launching a smoothie recipe book.
It will be filled with many smoothie alternatives to give you the very best nutrient value — although the focus is on clean eating and healthy habits.
Allowing yourself regular smoothies helps to add a bit of dimension into your diet, as well as critical essentials, like vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients.
My versions contain kale, broccoli, cauliflower and plenty of berries.
The recipe I’m showcasing will feature recipes with a few more fun and readily available ingredients.
By the way, I’m curious to know who’s interested in smoothies & what your favourite ingredients are.
