Scientists seem to make it a lot easier to justify eating avocado on a daily basis.
I use it in salads, baked veggies — or make my smashed avocado on spelt sourdough.
It’s absolutely delicious on anything.
Pre-make a small batch and have it ready in the fridge. Then, place several spoonfuls on absolutely anything to get your daily dose of good fats.

What you need
2 ripe avocados
1 lime, juiced
½ red onion, diced
1 red chilli, de-seeded and diced
¼ cup (7g) cilantro, chopped
2 tsp. sesame seeds, toasted
salt & pepper
What you need to do
- De-stone the avocados and scoop out the flesh into a bowl. Mash with a fork, leaving some of the avocado chunks to add texture.
- Add in the lime juice, onion, chilli, cilantro, sesame seeds, season with salt and pepper and mix until well combined.
- Serve with optional garnish of additional chilli, cilantro and sesame seeds.
