How yummy does this look? The author prized image is shown.

I know you guys can’t get enough of oats.

Since I had my operation, I’ve been eating them every day. I need fibre, long-lasting energy and carbs to give me energy.

Boy, do I need the energy to sustain me.

But, of course, I can’t eat a lot either, so a tiny amount helps hit the spot.

At the moment, I ordered some figs for my usual weekly organic veggie and fruit box. I can’t wait to get them and put them into my oats.

Bananas are as good — so are all berries. But figs are on another level.

In moderation, though, as I know how sweet they are. But, sometimes that can be a little heavy on the stomach.

Enjoy this recipe according to your seasonal fruit options and happy oat eating.
