You reminded me of a friend who was a former powerlifter.
Now he plays basketball instead.
Those years of studying, plus working full time and slamming himself with huge volume lifts - left him injured.
He got sick and tired of feeling that way and resorts to simple, low impact and fun exercise.
It's such a shame that people aren't given enough information that too much exercise can cause more harm than we realise.
I'm so glad you found a better alternative. Active recovery is terrific for the body and soul.
