That’s not a silly question at all. I was once in your shoes, and know how frustrating it can be.
In all honesty, I started training once or twice a week with a personal trainer. That was the only way I could push through my fear factor. As I started working with them and becoming familiar with exercises and techniques, I could do it on my own. Initially, I was very loyal to my body pump classes which were great — but eventually you move on from doing the same thing over and over.
I don’t think I would have the experience I now do if I didn’t have trainers, and then move towards studying myself too.
