I can quote my own experience here. I spaced mine out as I like to allocate one rest day between very hectic gym sessions. But because I intermittently fast now (and have so for a few years), I find I don’t need to carb cycle unless I want to lose weight.
Get to know what works for your body by trying a couple of alternatives out (one at a time) and then assessing each at the end of a month.
