Hello Jay, I didn't say the were unhealthy, they elevate blood sugar, and for those who already have a lot of issues with blood sugar, its in their best interest to eliminate them for the time being, until they it's a little stable. Carb sources like oats and sweet potatoe are better alternatives than the usual white potato.
