Thank you for your insight on this.

Perhaps I should have been clearer, although this is not a post about dysbiosis but fatty liver (which can become fatal). But you have given me a great topic to expand on in future posts.

Supplements are never toys, although the individual should always consult a doctor before taking anything. Probiotics are very low-hanging fruit in retrospect to the dangers of other supplementation.

Probiotics aren't the be-all and end-all of gut health. We need a balance of pre and probiotic alternatives, which come from various sources. This post was a bare-bones basic approach.
