I completely agree about adding fat to carbs. I am a HUGE culprit of doing this. It really is my weakness but thankfully I don't do it all the time. I'm more inclined to adding coconut oil to steamed rice (which is delicious and highly addictive).
I'm reading a book at the moment which talks about this very thing. It's called Gut Reactions - by Simon Quellen Field. Highly recommend it for anyone interested in the science of weight gain.
