Back in the day, I would have a salad bowl similar to this, at about 10–11 am.

That was secretly my last meal before I began my 20+ hour fast for the day.

Colleagues would laugh at me for eating salad for breakfast.

To me, it was the best meal of the day, and to this day, I could still eat greens in the morning.

Now I have a smoothie bowl, and one of my most treasured ingredients is either broccoli or spinach.

Mixing it with berries, protein powder, collagen, and spirulina makes for an antioxidant-rich start to your day.

This breakfast alternative is no different, which may also transition to a delicious light lunch.

The choice is yours!

Keep eating greens early in the day — let the haters hate.
