This is hard, Suzanne, as I think we’re all susceptible.

I can share my personal experience with you on this one.

I have decreased my training volume a lot. I did it first as an experiment to see if my strength and size would remain — and it did.

By timing I mean between 30 to 45 minutes max.

I proved to myself that doing the most effective exercises and using momentum, etc., and altering between very heavy and higher volume was enough.

Usually, I save my more extensive workouts for the weekend. It’s too hard with a demanding job and family on Monday-Friday.

Test it for yourself — use Multi-Joint movements as the primary basis for each workout. They will usually leave you worn out anyway. Save isolation exercise at the end (or when you have a few spare moments)
