Tropical Green Hurricane
Smoothies are my ultimate antioxidant boosting liquid gold foods.
I was previously oblivious to how powerful and satisfying they are — until I used them as my breakfast alternative.
As I a constantly plagued by gut challenges, I find them satisfying yet pose no threat to the good old gurgling gut I seem to experience repeatedly. Inflammation is probably a bit part of everyone's life these days, and supplementing a meal with smoothies helps relax your digestion.
Although I go pretty simple with mine, as I focus on berries and greens, you should change it up and add variety.
If you have overeaten during the holiday period and want to give your body a bit of a break from lots of solid foods, rid your system of alcohol and ease bloating — smoothies are the way to go.
If it's icy where you are right now, my best tip is to add cayenne pepper to your smoothie. Yes, I wrote the right word there.
This cuts the adverse reaction of the extreme cold in your body -mainly your gut. Cayenne pepper is suitable for your gut.
Happy New Year, Friends. Have a safe and wonderful evening and day.
